We are a Nairobi-born, Kenya-rooted travel company with one specialism: making the journey from the savannah to the sea feel like a single, effortless holiday.
Our Story
Born on the Mara, Raised on the Kenyan Coast
Sun & Safari was founded in 2015 by a small group of Kenyan guides and travel planners who kept meeting the same traveller: someone who had booked a safari with one company and a beach stay with another, and spent the middle of their holiday untangling missed transfers, mismatched dates, and double-charged park fees.
We believed there was a better way — one company, one consultant, one seamless itinerary that treats the bush and the beach as two halves of a single experience. A decade later, that idea has carried more than fifty-five bespoke holidays from the Mara River to the reefs of Watamu.
Every member of our planning team has personally travelled the routes we sell. When your consultant recommends a tented camp near the Talek River or a quieter stretch of Diani, it is because they have slept there, eaten there, and watched the sunrise there themselves.
